Whose responsibility comes after the trenches were dug?

I watched in horror as the pavement in front of my house was dug up, thinking: what now?

Don’t get me wrong I am as excited about fibre as the next person, but my thoughts immediately went to the state it is going to be left in after it has all been done?

I understand that the pavement is technically government land, but I still put in my own recources and sweat into keeping it looking nice. Whose responsibility will it be to restore the pavement to what it looked like before?

Not to mention potential damages to pipes and my driveway.

To tell the truth, I am worried it will never be the same again.
