Pitbull Gym will be hosting a Powerlifting Competition on February 22 at Crown Gardens Recreation Centre.

The competition will start at 10am and it will be the first of its kind hosted in the South since 1987. It will be hosted at the home gym of World Powerlifting Congress (WPC) champion Kobus Bester.

“Pitbull Gym is proudly affiliated to Rhino Powerlifting Club of South Africa, which is part of the Global Powerlifting Committee (GPC),” said organiser Colin du Bruyn.

“This event is a great opportunity for beginner powerlifters to get involved in the sport and it is also a national qualifier and national records can be broken.”
