UK Funnyman Jimmy Carr at the Big Top Arena

ALBERTON – Jimmy will perform on Saturday March 29 from 19:30 at Big Top Arena, Carnival City.
Best known for his signature laugh, deadpan delivery and edgy one-liners, UK comedian, Jimmy Carr is without doubt one of the UK’s most popular acts on the international stand-up circuit, and in early 2014 he’ll be performing in SA.
Having played to more than 1.5 million people on live tours around the world, Jimmy knows a thing or two about making people laugh; and local audiences can expect to laugh until they cry or their sides split – whichever comes first – during his latest show, Gagging Order, which will take place at the Big Top Arena at Carnival City in March.
But a word of warning: Jimmy doesn’t pull any punches, so be sure to bring an open mind – in fact UK newspaper The Independent on Sunday referred to him as being “as sick as he is slick”. And this is not a lie – he’s famous for pushing boundaries, so expect to be entertained beyond your expectations by this award-winning funnyman!
His stand-up achievements to date include winning a British Comedy Award for Best Live Stand-Up Tour and a Loaded LAFTA Award for Best Stand-Up. He has also received a Perrier Award nomination.
