Alberton High hosted a friendly relay event for the primary schools of Alberton and the surrounding areas on January 29.
Eight schools took part in a series of relays, starting with the u-9 girls and boys all the way through to the u-13s.
The day wrapped up with a continuous relay race where the first age group handed over the baton to the next group until every age group completed a 4 x 100m relay.
The winner of the continuous relay race was Laerskool Randhart.
Trophies were awarded to the winning teams in three categories, the top boys and girls schools and the top school overall.
The top girls on the day were from Alberton Primary and the top boys team was from Laerskool Randhart.
The overall winner on the day was Alberton Primary.
