Check your diamond jewellery

After a replacement, a jeweller told a resident that one of the stones was not a diamond but a cubic zirconia.

I recently took my five-stone diamond ring into a jeweller in the Southdale area to have a diamond replaced. When I got it back it looked like somebody had been practicing on it.

After an exchange of words with the jeweller, he took out the diamond he had replaced and gave me back my money, I took the ring to another jeweller, who told me that one of the stones was not a diamond but a cubic zirconia.

The first jeweller did not say there were any cubic zirconias in the ring and it never left my sight after that, it now has to be remade and have two diamonds replaced.

If you have had any diamond jewellery repaired or made I suggest you have the stones checked.
