No wonder you have to write all your credentials under you name because the residents from Ekurhuleni don’t know who you are.
What have you done in the past years for Ekurhuleni (or South Africa) to make this a better place? Politicians like you hide in their shell for four years, and once it is voting time, you stick your heads out, make a noise and disappear again for the next couple of years.
Remember, it is the person that makes the party and not the party that makes the person. There are hard working councillors in Ekurhuleni who earn and deserve the money they are paid.
Izak Berg and Bruna Haipel are two of those councillors who keep Alberton standing. No job too big. Any time you call them and lodge a complaint, guaranteed results are there in the shortest of time.
Residents of Ekurhuleni need people who can do the job. Irrespective if Izak and Bruna are members of IRASA, ANC, DA, IFP, EFF or what party, we will vote for them because they are there for the residents.
They work for us and make sure the job is done. Residents of Alberton can give you pages full of complaints sorted out by these councillors. I say it again, they can join or be members of whichever party they want, we will vote for the person who delivers, in this case Berg and Haipel.
Seeing that you are a Shadow Minister and have always been in the shadows, please stay there and don’t go so low as to badmouth a councillor who does more for the residents than anyone else. Residents are not blind or stupid. You or your party won’t get my vote after this attack launched on councillor Berg. This leaves a bad taste.
Berg and Haipel, thank you for your great work. Thank you that you don’t hide in the shade, but stick your necks out to make Ekurhuleni a better place. We as residents appreciate your hard work.
