Khanya Ndlovu RCL President 2014 of Parklands High was invited to an annual event of City of Ekurhuleni. Ekurhuleni wanted a Senior speaker from Grade 12 on February 13.
It was an easy choice for Mr B Mozaiwana to select a student.

Movu Masindi, a 17-year-old in grade 12, has achieved and represented Gauteng four times in Volleyball from 2010 all the way through to this year.
According to Movu, she made top 24 out of the entire country. She was top female player for the region of Gauteng.

Sandile Buthelezi and Principal Shiela Naidoo, Sandile Buthelezi, 15 years old in Grade 9, was selected to play for the u.16 Orlando Pirates Soccer team. Sandile attended a trial period during January where he was selected from a group hoping to play for the team. “When I’m older, I would like to play overseas and also play in the world cup one day,” said Sandile.
