Flower power spring show
Johannesburg South Garden Club held its annual spring flower show on Saturday and Sunday August 23 and 24 at the Entrance Precinct, Kibler Park.
KIBLER PARK – “This year we had a total of 21 exhibitors showing 239 entries, an amazing amount,” said Maud Pickup, chair of the garden club.
Overall winners were, Anne du Plessis with 68 points, joint second Bev White and Anne Helmrich (56 points each) and third Rob Jones with 41 points.
This year was a first for the garden club to hold its spring flower show at The Entrance Precinct and from now on all garden club meetings and shows will be held here.
