CRICKET SOUTH AFRICA (CSA) announced on Monday October 6 that they will see two of their major brands become official partners.

Rolux will become the official Lawnmower and gardening equipment partner to the CSA and, additionally, Big Jim will be the official cooler box partner to the CSA.

The deal will also see Cricket Unions benefiting as Rolux Lawnmowers and other stadium maintenance equipment will be made available to ground staff around the country.

“I am delighted to welcome Rolux and Big Jim into cricket, and this is another example of the growing confidence expressed by the business world in Cricket South Africa,” said CSA Chief Executive Haroon Lorgat.

“It’s a unique but necessary partnership as maintaining all our stadiums is a huge cost. Through this relationship with Rolux our affiliates and associates will now be able to get the best equipment to take care of their stadiums. We look forward to a long and fruitful partnership with Rolux and Big Jim,” said Lorgat.

SA Leisure CEO Haim Orlovik commented: “SA Leisure (Pty) Ltd is proud to be associated with Cricket South Africa and the Proteas. We are very excited to be a part of South African cricket. In addition, through our Rolux brand, in particular, and our partnership with CSA, Rolux is committed to developing cricket, particularly at youth level. Good Luck to the Proteas for the season ahead.”

Rolux will spearhead a fun and interactive Movember campaign in the lead-up to the Proteas tour to New Zealand and Australia in November that will feature the Proteas players. Rolux also plans to involve fans in an exciting competition which will be revealed at a later stage.
