Grueling race gets the better of warriors

Brent Henderson and Oz Osborne took part in the WarriorXtreme 24 hour obstacle race.

ALBERTON –  Brent completed 10 laps and Oz managed to complete 13 laps.

This placed Brent 17th overall and Oz seventh overall. Laps consisted of a 5km trail run with 15 various army style obstacles in between. The race started on  November 1 at 15:00 and ended at 15:00 on Sunday, November 2. Brent pulled out at around 07:00 with a damaged knee and Oz tapped out at 11:30 with an ankle that was starting to become unbearable.

The two describe the race as “an awesome experience and we will definitely be entering the next event and set our goals at a minimum of 15 laps, but hoping to do 20.”
