Gauteng Board provincial teams off to CSA national weeks
CSA National cricket weeks under way.

Gauteng Cricket Board Provincial School teams participated in the Cricket South Africa National Weeks, which started on Thursday December 4.
Members of these teams were capped at a prestigious function hosted in the Long Room at Bidvest Wanderers Stadium and teams played all across South Africa during the last weeks of December.
The National Weeks were hosted in the following venues:
CSA National Boys u.13 Week – Potchefstroom (December 10 to 15)
CSA National Girls u.13 Week – Johannesburg (Jeppe) December 4 to 7)
CSA National Boys u.15 Week – Oudtshoorn (December 12 to 17)
CSA National Girls u.16 Week – Johannesburg (Jeppe) (December 4 to 7)
CSA National Boys u.17 Week – Johannesburg (Wits) (December 10 to 15)
CSA National Girls u.19 Week – Nelspruit (December 12 to 16)
Coca-Cola Khaya Majola Week – Pretoria (December 17 to 19)
The GCB hosted the CSA National u.17 boys week and the CSA National u.13 and u.16 girls week.
The teams have had good results thus far with the GCB Girls u.13 team and GCB Girls u.16 teams winning six out of seven matches in their respective weeks. The GCB u.17 Boys teams have also had a great start in their week.
Chief Executive Officer of the Gauteng Cricket Board Greg Fredericks is looking forward to seeing the young talent being showcased.
“The GCB has the strength of our school system to thank for the success that we have seen at these weeks in the past years. I look forward to seeing hard work, dedication and a passion for the enjoyment of the game being displayed at these tournaments,” Fredericks said.
All of these teams are being supported at provincial level by Waltons.
