It is always heartening to see that our fallen are remembered in the appropriate manner and with respect. It was also well planned to celebrate his memory on his birthday.
It was also interesting to see that “Boetie” Arnold Vosloo is mentioned. Arnold will also be remembered for working as a part-time waiter at the Winning Post Restaurant. Who knew at that stage that he would one day star in major Hollywood movies?
Hopefully this will inspire other stories on old Albertonians to emerge.
