Alberton Bowling Club is proud of four of their new bowlers who bit the bullet and entered themselves in a novice pairs tournament at Wingate Bowls Club, Pretoria.

Anthona Da Costa Reis has played for approximately a year, but Joy Fiddes, Hans and Riana du Toit for only about four months. Out of the 28 teams competing, Joy Fiddes and Anthony Da Costa Reis finished in eighth place.
