This year’s Caxton Excellence Awards once again rewarded the hard work of the Caxton teams across South Africa.
The Joburg South team has shown its strength in the community-press industry by walking away with some of the top awards.
Alberton’s newspaper, the RECORD, was one of the finalists of Caxton publications in the Category Best Free Newspaper, 24 pages and more. Carina van der Walt, Editor of The Alberton RECORD, Comaro CHRONICLE and Southern COURIER was the winner in the category Best Multimedia Storyteller and Elizabeth Madonsela, a finalist in the category Switchboard Operator of the Year.
