SAFA receives massive boast

The sponsorship from Totalsport consists of the most ever received by SAFA in recent years.

The South African Football Association Development has received a massive boost from Totalsport to build a SAFA Safe-Hub.

The sponsorship from Totalsport consists of the most ever received by SAFA in recent years, a R8.5 million grant and the donation of the land by the City of Johannesburg.

SDA is building a SAFA Safe-Hub, which will include an artificial football pitch and youth development centre, complete with solar powered flood lights and security.

SAFA Safe-Hubs will provide a comprehensive integrated set of youth development services in collaboration with the local community, using soccer as a key driver.

In addition of the facility, Totalsports will invest a further R5.4 million over the next five years for a Centre Administrator, SAFA Regional Technical Officer and nine local technical officers in the greater Johannesburg area.
