Top MMA fighters at EFC 41
Cedric Doyle, still undefeated after four fights, will take on the headstrong Demarte Pena in a bantamweight fight.
A historic fight between two of the top fighters in the EFC fraternity will take place on Saturday, July 11, at Carnival City’s Big Top Arena.
Cedric Doyle, still undefeated after four fights, will take on the headstrong Demarte Pena in a bantamweight fight. The top ranked Doyle has earned himself the opportunity to fight Pena for the belt. The challenger will have his hometown fans to support him on fight night but only time will tell who will be victorious.
Former welterweight champion Michiel Opperman and the dangerous ground-and-pound specialist, Liam Cleland, will go head-to-head for the EFC middleweight belt.
Durbanite Wesley Hawkey will step into the hexagon to face the electrifying Tumisang Madiba in the featherweight division. The light heavyweight division will see the return of the hard-hitting Bernado Mikixi as he takes on tough-as-nails Danie van Heerden, brother of well known IBF welterweight world champion, Chris van Heerden.
Doors open at 15:00. Prelims will start at 18:00 and the main cards will commence at 20:00. Tickets are on sale at Computicket.
