Jet celebrates women
Jet club honours women through their Community Icon competition.
ALBERTON – Jet Club is celebrating Women’s Day by honouring women who work to improve the lives of others. The 2015 Jet Club Community Icon competition invites Jet Club members to nominate a woman whose work addresses a need in their community. The work can be in the fields of health, education, social upliftment or entrepreneurship.
Nominators must be Jet Club members but the women they nominate do not have to belong to the Jet Club.
An Edcon panel will select 10 finalists who will each win a R1 000 Jet gift card and a beauty hamper valued at R1 000. The Jet Club members whose nominees are chosen as finalists will each receive a R1 000 Jet gift card. Edcon will appoint an agency to validate all 10 finalists before announcing the 2015 Jet Club Community Icon grand winner, who will receive a R5 000 Jet gift card and a spa voucher for two people valued at R3 000. Her nominator will receive a R 2 500 Jet gift card.
