Scottish Freemasonry in Central South Africa host a charity cooking competition

All proceeds raised will go towards the Roslin Park old age home.

COOKING UP A STORM: Members of the Scottish Fremasonry in Central South Africa enjoyed a day with the elderly at Roslin Park.

CRAZY: The memorable event was filled with lightheartedness and jokes that brightened up everyone’s day.

POTJIEKOS: The potjiekos competition had attendees waiting patiently to sample local is lekker food.

GREATNESS: Guests from different lodges came together for this fundraising event.

ON SALE: This lamp was on sale to raise additional funds for the Roslin Park old age home. The lamp was made by a man who recently passed away.

COOKING FOR A CAUSE: This group was one of many who put their cooking skills to the test in the potjiekos competition.

SMOKY: Thought potjies can only be used for the traditional stew? These gentlemen made the most delicious lasagne!

ABOVE BOARD: It was important to know what the chiefs were preparing so that the judging process could be fair.

CUTE COUPLES: Couples came out in their numbers and had loads of fun.

WIDOWS SONS: The Sons of Hiram chapter of the International Widows Sons Masonic Riders Association donated R6 500 to the Roslin Park old age home.

JOYFUL: Scottish Freemasons from across the province joined in the celebrations.

FUN IN THE SUN: Staff from the old age home enjoyed the day out with the Scottish Freemasonry in Central South Africa.
