I had a positive experience at Home Affairs

Well done, Alberton Home Affairs

ALBERTON – I joined the long queue at Home Affairs to apply for a replacement birth certificate on Friday, October 30 at about 8:30.

After reading about the poor service in previous issues of the RECORD, I expected the worst. Much to my surprise I received great service especially from a gentleman who was wearing an orange shirt, I unfortunately never asked his name.

I don’t know if it was because I am elderly but in two hours I had completed all the documentation, payed the replacement fee and walked out with my new birth certificate.

I only experienced a delay while cashing out but otherwise well done, Alberton Home Affairs.
