ALBERTON – The Alberton Premier League team followed up its surprise great victory over UJ with a runaway victory over Randfontein away.

Alberton replied with 79/1 to Randfontein’s meagre 78/10, to win easily by nine wickets.

Best batsman, with the highest score of 35 runs, stalwart Morne McMaster.

Best Bowler went to Tyron White with five wickets from seven overs.

President League: Alberton vs Khosa at Khosa:

Alberton made 142/10 and Khosa 144/9, with the result that Alberton lost by one wicket.

Best batsman was Clinton Groenewald on 48 runs not out.

Best Bowler of the day was Sage Masher with four wickets in eight overs.

Sunday Two League: Alberton vs Randburg at Randburg.

Alberton scored 274/10 and Randburg surpassed that total with 277/6, to beat Alberton by four wickets.

Best batsman was Kevin Ekron with 54 runs and Kevin Chitungo emerged as best bowler.
