ALBERTON – At the East Rand Veterans Boxing Association year-end award’s evening, at Primrose Bowling Club, the following boxing personalities were honoured: Hennie Jordaan (champions trophy award), Phil Labuscghagne (presidents award), Des Blow (veteran of the year award), Hekkie Budler (boxer of the year) and Nigel Pera (chairman’s trophy). Absent: Nicky Ness (best services and contribution to boxing award), Shaun Ness (prospect award) and David van Nieuwenhuizen (personality of the year).
