Currie Cup time in Alberton

There is only one place to be on April 23 and that is A-Square Forklift Alberton Rugby Club, when the Xerox Golden Lions and Vodacom Blue Bulls will tackle each other in a Currie Cup match.

And to get you into the spirit of things, rugby kicks off on Friday, April 22, from 18:15, when the A-Square-Forklift Alberton and Union teams will battle things out.

Kick-off for the u.20 and u.21 teams is at 18:15 on the B fields, the third teams at 19:40 on the A field and the second teams at 21:00 on the A field.

The game of the weekend, between the Lions and Blue Bulls, will kick off at 15:00 on Saturday, April 23, followed by the first team clash between A-Square-Forklift Alberton and Union at 17:15.

But there is more!

The coveted Currie Cup will be on display in the Alberton RECORD’s media tent, and it is only here where you can have your photograph taken with the trophy. So pop in, come and introduce yourself and make use of this once in a lifetime opportunity.

Entrance to the game is R20 per vehicle or R10 per adult. Scholars’ enter for free.
