Sterilisation project kicks off

The Alberton SPCA are planning to do this again.

THE ALBERTON SPCA’s Sterilisation Project was held on Tuesday, May 31, in Thokoza.

Unfortunately, due to some unforeseen issues, the staff were unable to assist all the pets that were brought to them. According to Kingstone Siziba, senior inspector, they are waiting to reschedule.

However, they were able to assist a few animals and thanked the pet owners for being responsible and for bringing their cats and dogs to them.

“A huge thank you goes out to the state veterinarians for coming through to assist us, we really appreciate your hard work and efforts. Thankfully they had the mobile clinic to assist a few of the animals. We will keep the community posted on when we will be able to come through again and thank the Thokoza community for their patience,” said Kingstone.
