Water wastes for months

This wasted water now quenches the thirst of birds and stray dogs.

SINCE September 2015, precious, clean water has been leaking from a water hydrant in Eden Park, and a pond has formed around it.

According to residents living near the hydrant, the leak started after construction trucks with tanks filled up with water at the hydrant.

“It has been leaking and wasting water for almost a year now. EMM trucks with workers pass daily, but never come to repair or stop the waste of clean water,” said a woman (who wishes to remain anonymous) who lives close to the hydrant.
