THE South African Police Service (SAPS) has created a forum for car guards, in the fight against car theft.

Alberton SAPS and car guards are having monthly meetings at Alberton SAPS to discuss burning issues happening at car park areas that can help reduce car theft. “The police value the efforts made by the car guards and we want to keep the partnership going. The community is requested to work together with the car guards to reduce car theft,” said Sergeant Phora Nkuna, spokesperson for the Alberton SAPS.

All car guards who want to join the forum are welcome and may contact W/O Thomas Ngobeni and Sgt Fatiwane Mukosi on 011 861 6856.
