Get your EMM wheelie bin here

EMM explains how to obtain a wheelie bin.

RECORD recently placed a resident’s letter who said his bin was not being collected.

The Ekurhuleni Metropolitan Municipality (EMM) said they had been instructed not to collect bins without the Ekurhuleni logo on them.

Upon asking how a resident must go about attaining the correct bins, this was EMM’s reply: “Residents wishing to be issued with free 240l bins are requested to visit the Alberton Waste Management Services depot on Swartkoppies Road with the following documents: a copy of your identity document and a rates and taxes statement that is not older than three months,” said Themba Gadebe, spokesperson for the EMM.
