Rounding off Women’s Month

The event was well attended by women of a diversity of spiritual beliefs and cultures from around the area.

CELEBRATIONS:  MC Lyllian Said addressed women at the final celebration of Women’s Month at the Methodist Church on Saturday August 27. The event was well attended by women from diverse spiritual beliefs and cultures from around the area. After numerous speeches, the women were served with a sumptuous lunch in memory of the brave women who marched to the Union Buildings 60 years ago.
