Boy accidentally shoots himself dead
Police say a boy accidentally shot and killed himself in Ridgeway.
POLICE say an 18-year-old Ridgeway boy accidentally shot and killed himself with a firearm that belonged to his late grandparent on the evening of Monday, September 26.
Mondeor SAPS spokesperson Captain Dube Nokulunga, informed the COURIER that according to the boy’s parents, he was playing with his younger brother when the accident occurred.
ER24 paramedics arrived on the scene and found the boy’s body lying on the floor.
The police have opened an inquest.
