Clean up the road

That seems like a pretty simple and inexpensive way to solve the problem, but so far, absolutely nothing has been done.

We are keen mountain bikers and use the Klipriver Road (dust road), nearest corner Vaal Street, when riding and the stench and rubbish and dead pets are just getting too much.

We have reported this matter to the EMPD and Rand Water (their property) and yet the dumping still continues. Today we rode through there and found two separate vehicles dumping rubble there in broad daylight with not a care in the world.

I have suggested that they dig little trenches, or create embankments or something to prevent the vehicles from getting in there to dump their rubbish.

That seems like a pretty simple and inexpensive way to solve the problem, but so far, absolutely nothing has been done.
