Spinning to support Hospice

There will be loads of prizes to be won.

A SPIN-A-THON in aid of Stepping Stone Hospice is to be held at the Virgin Active Newmarket Park on Saturday, October 29 from 07:00 to 11:00.

Not only will you be able to test your ‘on-saddle’ skills against other ‘spinners’, but you’ll stand in line to win some exciting prizes and be eligible for a goodie bag filled with all sorts of surprises, a free massage and some Energade “on the house”.

Each participant can decide if they want to spin for an hour, two hours, three hours or for all four hours. You can also select a time slot that suits you. An hours’ spinning will cost you R200, a second hour an added R150, a third hour an extra R100 and a fourth hour will be R75 more. All participants completing the full four hours, will be eligible for a special prize.

Virgin Active New Market has also agreed to declare the day an ‘Open Day’ in the gym; in other words, non-members joining the Spin-A-Thon can enter the gym and make use of all the facilities for the day, provided non-members sign an indemnity form and produce a ID-book or driver’s licence. Parents of children aged 18 years and younger, will need to sign the indemnity form.

To enter, kindly SMS or WhatsAp your name, cell number and email address to Marietjie Tame on 082 337 5713, who will then forward you the necessary booking forms and banking details for registration.
