The first Alberton Parent Club gathering took place at Cresco Preschool and Aftercare on Wednesday, October 12.

The Parent Club is a monthly social meeting for parents and grandparents.

“Raising children can be difficult and one starts to feel alone or friendless,” says Sam Barnard, principal at Cresco. ‘

‘The Parent Club aims to create a place for parents and grandparents to meet and find people who share the same values and interests as they do.

”It allows parents and grandparents to meet and greet as they speak to others, to receive advice, off-load, as well as an opportunity for stay at home parents with children to get out of the house for a bit.”
