The school collected an astonishing 22.386 tons of paper for the year.

The prizes included R10 000 for the school. The top individual scholar, Tamzin Naidoo, won R1 000, a framed certificate and a stationery set – for bringing in over 3 660 boxes and 65 office bags of paper’. The school’s green ambassador, Jenna Axsel, who co-ordinated the collections, was awarded R1 000.

“A massive ‘thank you’ goes out to all our parents, children, staff and community members for assisting us in reaching our goal. Without your support, this would never have been possible,” says Axsel.
