Mall parades into the festive spirit

To ensure pure shopping pleasure, Mall of the South is extending its trading hours until December 23 with stores open from 09:00 to 20:00.

IN celebration of the festive season, Mall of the South entertained shoppers with a festive parade on the evening of December 9.

The parade was led by 20 characters and members of the local community, including MMC of Public Safety Michael Sun, Ward 23 councillor Sarah Wissler, Kibler Park and Turffontein firefighters, Mondeor Police members and Community Police Forum Sector Three members. The Mondeor High School choir added flair to the event with a performance of Christmas carols, in the Platinum Court.

To ensure pure shopping pleasure, Mall of the South is offering extended shopping hours, 09:00 to 20:00, until December 23.

Shoppers can even charge their mobile devices while having gifts wrapped, for a small donation, at the Edu-Care Foundation kiosk. This service will be available until December 24 and all proceeds will be donated to Edu-Care.

Little shoppers will also have an opportunity to meet and have their photo taken with Father Christmas, in the Platinum Court, until December 24.

“The Mall of the South team would like to thank its tenants, staff and shoppers for their loyalty and support over the past year. Your dedication and contribution has made 2016 a great success. We wish you well over the festive season and all the best for the New Year,” said Hester Smith, Mall of the South Centre Manager.
