Health, sexuality and lifestyle expo
Sexpo proved to be yet another success with much entertainment throughout the day.
SEXPO hosted thousands of people streaming in either from curiosity or the regulars who look forward to it every year, this year from September 26 to 29 at the Expo Centre Nasrec.
Every year Sexpo strives for new and exciting stage shows and sexy shopping for the explorers, although they manage to cater to everybody’s needs, many had their opinions about the expo.
Many would argue that Sexpo is about one thing and one thing only… sex; however this year, The Salvation Army joined forces to fight the scourge of human sex trafficking. Film and Publication Board (fpb) also, as every year, had their stand and did their part to make people aware of child pornography.
“Sex is about having fun and expressing yourself in a healthy, safe and consensual way,” a message which was spread by The Salvation Army throughout the day.
Durex also hosted a number of workshops over the four day expo and made sure people understood the different sex tools and how to use them without causing damage or making it something ugly.
Many of the stalls exhibited many graphic images, while others were educational and fun to see. Mark Anthony had his hour of stage presence hypnotizing people, making them believe a chair was their lover… laughter and playful shock spread across many people’s faces, especially when their partner or friend was on stage.
Closer to the end of the evening an amateur strip took place with many men and women going to great lengths to win prize money and gifts.
Another famous attraction was Pricasso – a penile artist who paints portraits with his penis and buttocks.
The days were fun, educational, shocking, surprising and funny for many people who joined in on a very different experience.
