Lions help flood victims
Assistance was at hand after residents lost their household possessions in a flood.
MEMBERS of the Alberton Lions Club and ward 23 councillor Sarah Wissler assisted 10 displaced families whose houses were flooded after a water pipe burst in Bassonia, on January 1. The families, who were traumatised by the ordeal, were provided with boxes of basic essentials to help ease their burden.
