Dylan donates again

Dylan ran a campaign to collect 450kg of plastic bottle caps to pay for the wheelchair.

ABOUT a year ago, Dylan Jacobs, a learner at Alberton High School and a member of the school’s welfare committee, proudly handed over two new wheelchairs to Stepping Stone Hospice.

On Monday, February 27, Dylan and his team handed over another new wheelchair to the hospice.

This was all made possible by his dedication and commitment to do good in the community – Dylan and the rest of the welfare committee members had embarked on a drive to collect 450kg of plastic bottle caps. These were handed over to Interwaste, which in turn bought the wheelchair. It was then Dylan’s decision to make Stepping Stone Hospice the beneficiary of the chair.
