ALBERTON’S own model Charne Heunis was crowned as the Junior Miss Tourism South Africa 2017 on March 4.
This assistant modelling teacher from Alberton RVT models made sure she caught the eye of the judges with her sleek blue dress. The other models from the modelling school also did very well. Bianca Langedyk won Miss Pre-Teen Tourism South Africa 2017 and Sonmari Erasmus was crowned as the Miss Tourism South Africa second runner-up.
“Huge congratulations go to Christine van Tonder, who was first runner-up in the Mrs Tourism SA category. You are one beautiful amazing lady, mom and grandma,” said teacher Luzanne Heunis.
According to Charne the competition was stiff, with many beautiful contestants in each age category.
