Alberton SPCA needs your help

Join the Furry Friend Foundation.

DUE to the worsening economic climate, donations to the Alberton SPCA have dropped.

“We want to give the dogs and cats at the SPCA the best possible care we can and for this we need regular sponsors. The Furry Friend Foundation was set up to make it easier for our local community to sponsor us on a regular basis. It also enables us to budget more effectively if we can count on future donations,” said Vanja Ingold, a member from the SPCA.

The SPCA are in need and, by being part of their foundation, people can help them. If you want to join the Furry Friend Foundation, contact the office on albertonspca@telkomsa.net and they will send you a debit order form, or pop by at their offices in Lincoln Road, General Alberts Park to pick one up. People who can make a regular donation to them will be issued with a Section 18A Tax Certificate so that their donation can be offset against tax.

Those who want to make a donation can use the following details:

Bank: First National Bank, Brackenhurst

Cheque Account: SPCA Alberton

Account Number: 6235 8088 394

Reference: Your name + FFF

“Only by having the support of our local community can Alberton SPCA continue to care for the numerous dogs and cats that are increasingly making their way into our protection. We thank you profusely for your continued help and concern,” Vanja added.
