Basie Pretorius passed away on October 9, aged 77. He lived in Alberton over the last fifty years of his life. He was well loved and gave everyone advice, even if he didn’t know someone personally, he was still an inspiration to them.
After his retirement from MBA, with his long term of law experience, he moved into the property sector where he remained for many years.
Basie was married to Clara for 56 years, he loved her dearly, and leaves her and his grandchildren behind with his sudden passing. He will always be loved and never forgotten.
Clara gives a big thanks to the family for all the food, flowers, cards and phone calls. “We thank God that he didn’t suffer; may he rest in peace.”
