A PROBLEM that was reported over two years ago is now turning into an even greater problem for the community of Mozambique Street, Palm Ridge, Alberton.
The blockage of the stormwater drain over the weekend October 19 filled the ground of the homes. “The Council has done nothing for the residents,” said PR Councillor Samantha Nair. “The residents are unable to live in such conditions.”
She had met with residents on several occasions with the concern of unhealthy conditions for both children and parents regarding this issue.
According to Ms Nair, the residents are very upset with the ward Councillor who has done nothing about this problem.
