The foundation received a donation recently to assist them in their charitable work.

THE Marian Rose Foundation received a donation recently to assist them in their charitable work.

To celebrate Mandela Day on July 18, Alberton RECORD newspaper donated R4 434.84 to the non-profit organisation that aims to assist children who need medical treatment, but may not have the access or means to any.

The donation was raised by a charity drive and donated on behalf of advertisers with the newspapers, namely The Glen Shopping Center, Mall at Newmarket, Balwin Properties and Crystal Communications.
