Bakkie rolls in head on collision on Swartkoppies
The vehicles collided head on causing the bakkie to roll. It landed on its roof on the side of the road and the Mercedes driver was uninjured.
A DRIVER of a white bakkie who sustained minor injuries, was transported to a local hospital after a head-on collision with a silver Mercedes on Swartkoppies Road, on August 5.

The collision occurred at around 11.20am and emergency services were on scene. Med-Help was on scene with the JMPD and tow trucks who were assessing the scene.

According to a Med-Help representative, the bakkie was heading east on Swartkoppies Road and the Mercedes was turning right onto Gazelle Road.

The vehicles collided head-on causing the bakkie to roll. It landed on its roof on the side of the road but the driver od the Mercedes was uninjured.

The high number of collisions on Swartkoppies Road is slowly becoming a serious concern. Drivers are urged to drive cautiously on this road and keep to the designated speed limits at all times.
