Two die in Birch Road accident

The two-vehicle accident happened on the corner of Birch and Forrest roads, at about 10.30pm.

ER24 spokesperson Liam Hardy said two men in a light motor vehicle had already died when paramedics arrived.

He said a male in the second vehicle, who is believed to be in his 40s, was critically injured and was flown by helicopter to the Sandton Mediclinic.
