Guide those in need
“Tutela has changed me as a person and I notice and feel the need to help others more than ever."
NONHLANHLA Beauty Ngubo (nicknamed Beauty) has been a social auxiliary worker for Tutela for 10 months.
She speaks to the RECORD about how Tutela has given her a passion to help people in need.
Beauty has been a part of Tutela for almost a year, but she has certainly learned a lot so far! Her need and passion to help others who are vulnerable and have nothing is stronger than ever. To help and guide these people is what keeps Beauty driven to reach success.

So what makes Tutela special to her, setting this charity apart from the rest? She said: “I am a child of God. Tutela is a church organisation with strong godly principles. This is just where I belong.”
What holds an extra special place in Beauty’s heart is children and the elderly. She dreams to help children in building up bright futures, while they also look up to the elderly for guidance. “Older people are wise. They’ll be of great help and guidance and they can motivate children to make the right choices for the best possible future.”
Beauty’s goal in life is to grow as a person while helping those in need. She hopes that, when she is gone, she will be remembered as someone who helped others change their lives for the better.
“Tutela has changed me as a person and I notice and feel the need to help others more than ever. My relationship with God gets stronger every day,” she concluded.
