VERONIQUE Kuit, Miss Ribbons for Roses supreme queen, recently walked away as the overall senior winner during the King and Queen of Alberton pageant on September 23.
She was also crowned best ramp model, best photogenic model and the best-dressed model. Veronique is a local model who goes to Alberton High School and the RECORD did a few articles about her in the past.
This competition was held by Luzanne Heunis (RVT teacher) and Charne Heunis (RVT assistant teacher).
There were about 50 entries.
“I had a serious operation and I have been out of pageantry for just over a year. I wasn’t allowed to get back into heels for quite a while. This was my very first competition since then and it turned out very well,” she said.
Veronique also wants to thank Luzanne for a well-organised competition.
