A well organised pageant

This was held on September 23.

MODELS looked beautiful during the recent King and Queen of Alberton pageant.

RVT Modelling School’s models were dressed to impress and walked away with a lot of titles. Local singer Carla Lee entertained the audience with her amazing voice by singing a few songs during the pageant.

At first, there were only 12 entries, but eventually, about 50 models entered the pageant.

THE STAGE: This was the ramp that was used at the RVT Modelling School’s pageant.

Here are the winners from RVT Modelling School:

  • Maronelle Fourie was first princess and Mcayla Viljoen second princess in the category ages 10-12.
  • Lungeli Siyaphi was the winner of ages 13-15.
  • Lee Vogelaar was crowned as the fourth princess.
  • Sifiso Siyaphi competed in the junior boys category and received a prize for being so photogenic and was also nominated ‘director’s choice’.
  • Jonelle Fourie was the first princess in the Mrs category.
  • Maronelle Fourie was the junior Overall Face of Alberton 2017 (contestant with highest photogenic score).
LITTLE MAN: Sifiso Siyaphi competed in the junior boys category and received a prize for being photogenic and the director’s choice.

Luzanne Heunis who teaches at the modelling school, told the RECORD that she is extremely proud of each and every contestant. She also thanked everyone who assisted with the ramp, music, prizes and everything else.

“Also thank you to everyone who entered the competition and everyone who took time to enjoy a great pageant with us,” she said.

Charne Heunis the assistant teacher, unfortunately, did not attend the pageant, but thanked her mom and all the models from RVT Modelling School.
