CPF and SAPS plan a marathon patrol
The marathon will start at 8am on October 28 at the Brackendowns Police Station.
BRACKENDOWNS Community Policing Forum along with South African Police Service will be doing a 25-hour marathon patrol at the end of October.
The marathon will start at 8am on October 28 at the Brackendowns Police Station and will end at 9am on Sunday morning, also at the station.
“If there are any problem areas that the public would like us to target, they are welcome to contact any of the area chairmen and leave an anonymous tip-off,” said Luciano Dias from the CPF.
“We would like to ask the community to come out and support our patrollers. Any donations will be welcome. This can be any type of donation, be it financial, tinned foods, blankets, etc and we will then distribute it to projects and charities that we support,” added Dias.
