Art lovers support Epic Foundation

The Art school in Alberton is run by Sanchi Leibach and this is the second event they have done for the Epic Foundation.

LOVERS of arts gathered at the Sha-mani Lodge on October 26 to support the Epic Foundation fund-raising event.

Graham Brownlow-Hewett gave the artists of The Art Centre in Alberton free rein to interpret his poetry into beautiful paintings. The artists donated their artworks to help raise money for the vital work that the Epic foundation fulfils in the South community by supporting people in distress.

The live poetry reading by Graham was a wonderful treat to the people attending and Sha-mani lodge provided a beautiful setting for the event. Just over R20 000 was raised through sales and donations. Epic foundation is in urgent need of funding to be able to continue with their work.
