EDEN PARK – Eden Park Secondary celebrate teachers’ day on October 9 at the community hall. The RCL committee was the responsible coordinator of the event where learners, especially the matriculants, wanted to express their appreciation towards their teachers.
The school had invited the principals of the primary schools, spiritual leaders, ward councillor, honourable mayor Mondli Gungubele of Ekurhuleni metro and officials from the Department of Education.
The IDSO, Mr Vilakazi, district director MH Nhagaloo and chief director advocate Allison Banston-Mali could unfortunately not attend the event.
Besides listening to the various speakers, the guests were entertained by the energetic Trudy Jansen with her spiritual dancing and Eden Park’s own song bird, Shannon Owies.
