Children from Siyabonga receive some amazing Christmas presents

The children loved all their gifts!

THE Siyabonga Children’s Home will be having a merry Christmas this year.

On November 28, children were spoiled with gifts that included some essentials as well as some personal treats that were individually chosen just for that one child.

Essentials included: facewash (over 13’s), shampoo/conditioner, vaseline, lip ice, hairbrushes, disposable razors (over 13’s),Pritt/stationary, torches (boys) and hair elastics/hairbands/clips (girls), all of which were sponsored by Ziphi Nkomo1, a group of companies specialising in personnel management services.

DOING GOOD: Organiser Corli Carratu, staff from Ziphi and the house mother from Siyabonga Children’s Home.

The children also received 15 scooters to ride around on from a generous anonymous donor.

Siyabonga is home to 36 children, ranging from the ages of 11 months to 18 years of age.

Thanks to these good-hearted people, these children will be having a happier festive season.

JUST WHAT I WANTED: Children open up their presents excitedly.
